Cage 

Get a soft plastic box and poke holes in the lid big enough that a straw can fit through but small enough that the fly can't get out

Food and water

Feed your fly plain sugar and raisins and give it fresh water in a bottle cap. To get the food in the cage, poke a straw through one of the holes and use it as a funnel for your food and water.
