Daily Care  ,m  Stick insects eat eucalyptus leaves, pellets and some fruits. They need fresh eucalyptus leaves every week. Make sure you put the base of the leaves in a jar of water to keep them fresh.  Once a day you need to spray the leaves with a mist of water. This is the water that stick insects drink while they are eating the leaves.  You need to clean the cage every week. You don’t necessarily need to take the stick insects out, you put your hand on the leaf or part of the enclosure in front of the insect. Push your hand very lightly and it will climb on to your hand. It can be big or small,  your choice, if it is big you should consider getting multiple budgies to fill up the cage and to give your budgie a friend. The budgies toys The budgie should have a variety of different toys to keep it busy all day if you only have 1 budgie you should get a mirror toy for it The budgies food and water The budgie should have lots of seed and budgie pellets but also thinly sliced fruits and vegetables. Your budgie should not have lettuce, avocado, or any junk food. It also needs a water bowl.  The budgies health Every year your budgie should have a check-up at a local vet. You can get mite spray and other stuff like that from your local vet.
